Laser welding in lithium battery applications
Lithium battery laser welding machine is a continuous fiber laser welding machine developed to adapt to the new energy industry. It is suitable for the welding of copper and aluminum connecting pieces of new energy batteries, pole lugs, pole posts, explosion-proof pieces, busbar connecting pieces, battery shells and polymer to nickel power lithium batteries.
There are four main parts: gantry type laser welding table, fiber laser, control system, and water cooling system.
The welding of lithium batteries often has high requirements for the welding machine. The following two conditions need to be met:
1. The assembly quality and precision of the workpiece must have a good consistency.
2. The preparation quality of the parts should be strictly controlled to improve the assembly accuracy of the welded parts. Part surface quality, bevel size and assembly accuracy will affect the weld tracking effect.
Lithium battery laser welding machine, you can improve the quality of part preparation and weld assembly accuracy from the following aspects.
1, the preparation of welding robots special welding process, the size of the parts, weld bevels, assembly size for strict process regulations. General parts and bevel size tolerance control in ± 0.8mm, assembly size error control within ± 1.5mm, welding seam porosity and biting edge and other welding defects can be significantly reduced.
2, the use of high precision welding fixtures to improve the assembly accuracy of the welded parts.
3, clean weld seam, no oil, rust, welding slag, cutting slag and other debris. Residual slag shell or porosity is avoided.
